Our Tenants. Their Testimonials.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed living in the Brickstone Apartments. The design is contemporary and interesting, unlike a “standard” apartment — no white walls or beige carpeting here. Also, the location is perfect, and the management is attentive and accessible. We recommend living in these apartments to anyone.”
– Andy and Claudia Lorentzen
“Leasing an apartment with Perennial Properties is a pleasure; unlike corporate landlords, the developer takes personal interest in tenant satisfaction while the manager is unusually gracious and responsive to residents. From my first visit, I have been equally impressed by their personal pride in maintaining the pristine condition of the premises which makes it a delight to enter the building at the end of a long day.”
– Prof K. Gibel Azoulay
“The Woodland Ave. Brickstone is a FANTASTIC place to live ~ the developers, the staff @ Perennial Properties, the location, the buildings… ALL of these things combined make for a comfortable, enjoyable and beautiful living experience. Perennial Properties is a very client-friendly property management group that sets its clients at ease ~ knowing that they are listened to, cared about and responded to. The charming exterior is only the beginning of the beauty that you find packed into this management team!”
Thanks guys, for ALL that you do to make us LOVE the Brickstone!!!

“Before moving to Des Moines, I looked at many different apartments. When I saw the Brickstone, I knew it was the perfect place. The Brickstone building is new but still possesses a lot of character and style from the Victorian era. The location is terrific, the neighbors are friendly, and I’ve been extremely happy with our property management. I’ve never regretted moving here!”
– Eric Nemmers
“Living at The Brickstone at Woodland has been a wonderful experience. I have the luxury of living downtown but without the noise and busyness. I have an amazingly beautiful view inside and out. My favorite thing about living at The Brickstone is the interior design. The moment I walked in, I knew I wanted to live here. It is like walking into a luxurious loft with “brand-new” everything and brilliant colors! I would recommend living here to anyone!”
